The Igbo World Assembly (IWA), a global umbrella organization representing Ndigbo in the diaspora, has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Igbo culture and driving economic empowerment in Alaigbo. This commitment was recently demonstrated at the Export Business Roundtable Southeast 2025, hosted by the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and DGC Express at the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ECCIMA).

The event, which brought together young and seasoned manufacturers, provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss strategies for boosting the Southeast's economy through exports, agriculture, manufacturing, and branding. IWA, as a key participant, emphasized the importance of investing in youth and women to unlock the region's economic potential.

*IWA's Vision for Economic Growth* IWA has long been at the forefront of initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development in Alaigbo. At the roundtable, the organization encouraged youth and women to explore opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, packaging, and branding. These sectors, IWA believes, hold the key to transforming the Southeast into an economic powerhouse.

Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, Assistant DSG Media and Publicity highlighted the organization's dedication to empowering the next generation of Igbo entrepreneurs. "Our youth and women are the backbone of our economy.

The Export Business Roundtable Southeast 2025 was a convergence of ideas, innovation, and collaboration. Participants discussed ways to overcome challenges in the export sector, such as access to funding, infrastructure gaps, and global market penetration. IWA's presence at the event underscored its role as a bridge between Ndigbo in the diaspora and their homeland, fostering partnerships that drive development. IWA urges stakeholders, both within and outside the Southeast, to support initiatives that empower youth and women. By investing in agriculture, manufacturing, and branding, the region can create jobs, reduce poverty, and strengthen its position in the global market.

As IWA continues to champion the cause of Ndigbo, the organization remains steadfast in its mission to preserve Igbo culture while driving economic growth. The Export Business Roundtable Southeast 2025 marks another milestone in IWA's journey toward a prosperous and united Alaigbo.
